    Stage #1: Selection Criteria

    Please read the following carefully before applying!...

    • You are a native speaker of the language you translate into [ Target language ].
    • You were awarded at least a Masters Degree or equivalent in your native language .
    • You have a perfect understanding of the language you translate from [ Source language ].
    • You have studied or spent a subsequent number of years in the country of the language you translate from.
    • You have minimum of five (5) years experience in the translation field.
    • You specialise in only a couple of subjects but have extensive experience in these fields.
    • You have a good command of computer software and are familiar with basic layout techniques .
    • Your spelling and grammar is impeccable
    • You can show at least two professional references
    • Your average turnaround for translation is 3000 words daily .
    • You can work easily under pressure and respond quickly to queries.

    Stage #2: The Selection Process

    Freelance Translators:

    • All applicants MUST complete the online form on our employment page and agree to our terms and conditions of employment.
    • We receive your application and institute a reference check.
    • After receipt of satisfactory references, and according to profile, you may be asked either to provide samples of past work or to carry out a language test.
    • If successful, your details will be placed on our database. We will then be ready to contact you as soon as the next appropriate opportunity arises.

    Interpreters:

    • All applicants must complete the online form on our employment page and agree to our terms and conditions of employment.
    • We receive your application and institute a reference check.
    • After receipt of satisfactory references, we shall conduct a formal interview either at our premises or over the phone according to your geographical location.
    • If successful, your details will be placed on our database. We will then be ready to contact you as soon as the next appropriate opportunity arises.

    Agencies:

    Agencies looking for partnership can contact us directly at job@nettranslation.co.uk.

    Please do not forget to include in your proposal:
    - A current price list
    - Details of at least two existing clients for reference check
    - At least two samples of previous work
    - Summary of your recruitment policy and quality procedure assessment.

    Note that parent agencies are all expected to carry indemnity insurance.
