the UK.
If you have already entered into a civil partnership
in another country, you won't have to register the partnership
again in the UK as long as long as the law of the country
in which the union took place meets the requirements set out
in the Civil Partnership Act (Schedule 20). Schedule 20 recognises
certain overseas unions as equivalent to civil partnerships
under the laws of the United Kingdom. Same-sex couples who
have entered into those unions are automatically recognised
in the United Kingdom as civil partners.

documents in view of registering their civil partnership abroad.
General enquiries on how to register a civil
partnership abroad should be addressed directly to the Embassy
or High Commission of the country concerned. It is possible
you will be asked to obtain a certificate of no impediment.
This is a document required by some foreign authorities to
enable a British national to register a civil partnership
in their country and, under certain circumstances, it can
be provided by your registration authority.
